These type of ‘vlogs’ are all over the internet right now and I think it would be cool if I’ll do mine as a blog post. Also, I would never do it in a video since I am too shy to film myself and too annoyed to hear my voice in a recording. Okay let’s just cut to the chase, I got these sweets from a Brazilian shop in Toyota Shi. As far as I know the stuffs I got are Brazilian sweets and please if I have featured something that doesn’t go with theme please let me know 🙂
First thing I tried was, Garoto’s Itcoco. I was too excited about this one because I am a fan of coco milk and chocolate combined. Since I can’t read the words written at the back, I didn’t know (and maybe I was a bit disappointed) that there aren’t any coconut milk inside but instead there are grated coconut. All in all it tastes good and if I could rate it I’ll give it a 7 out of 10.
Next one, Lacta’s bubbly. It kinda looks likes melted marble chocolates that stick with each other. BUT, this is probably my favorite treat among the rest! It may have those holes after you bite it, I just don’t look at it while I eat. The flavor of milk and chocolate really burst in your tongue like fireworks! I would give this a 10 out of 10 YASSS!
Also from their brand, Lacta, Diamante Negro. Why does this sound a bit racist to me? haha 😀 anyways please don’t judge me. When I read it, I was expecting it to be a black chocolate, a little bitter-sweet. But it was called Diamante Negro for a reason, there are bits of black diamonds on the inside. It tastes like a normal milk chocolate but there are stone-like stuffs inside and it isn’t that hard to bite by the way. It’s good and yummy so I’ll give it a 9 out of 10!
Fourth and from the same brand- Lacta, it actually has no name on it but just Lacta. This one is just like any other milk chocolate I have tried. Nothing really interesting, but, I love the simplicity of its taste that why I’ll give it a 10 out of 10.
And finally, the last candy we got in our pockets, Bananada Fazendinha Rio Pardo. I am not a fan of anything chewy. I didn’t really liked this one. My friends from work actually gave on of these to me before and I forgot to eat it and I don’t know where that is right now. So when I saw it at the store i just grabbed it and gave it a try. They say that this candy actually is very famous in Brazil. To be really honest, it tastes like over ripe chewy bananas. The coating is fine but the jelly inside is the thing that I didn’t like. Probably gonna give it a 5 out of 10.
Those are all the candies I got! I hope you guys liked it and if you do leave a comment if you want more posts similar to this. I am not a food expert/critic, all things said above are based on my experiences while I ate those chocolates.
