My dad, how do I even start a blog post about my dad. This box is probably not enough for all the love, words and wishes I want to tell him. I rarely even tell him I love him, and I am really ashamed of that. I normally don’t make cheesy letters for them but I think its time to stop being shy and write something for him on his birthday.
I want to start with the things I really love about my papa. He is the silliest person anyone could ever meet. His silliness will drive you crazy, for real. There is never a dull and boring moment with this guy. When I was a kid, he told me that laughing will make you look younger and pretty. He taught me a lot of catchy and funny songs before too and I admit that those songs are still stuck in my head till now.
I also love how he teaches us life lessons. He doesn’t make it sound boring, he uses mind blowing facts to give us lesson about life and reality. He said he got that skill from my grandfather but I am sure he has that talent of his own.
Even though he is such a clown, my dad is a very faithful child of God too. Everything in our life, he trust it all to God. When he is in doubt or trials, he always run to God and pray for it. And I, thank God for giving us such a loving mom and papa.
As a husband, well, you probably can tell it when you look at my mother. A stressed-free woman is a definition of a loving, caring and smart husband. I am speechless with these two’s relationship, the real #relationshipgoals. I actually tell my mom that I am going to marry someone like my dad someday, but will I ever find someone who’s as great as my dad? Guess not. Lol.
As a brother and an uncle, he is responsible. I’ve never seen anyone love his siblings the way my dad loves his. Their closeness is astonishing, even though tough times come in, he still care very much for his brothers and sister especially when my grandpa was still alive.
Lastly, as our dad. He is just stupendous. He is the greatest. He is… well he is the best dad. Me and Sean are the blessed naugtyheads in this world, oh I mean in this UNIVERSE.
Papa, I love you so so much. Thank you for loving us unconditionally. Thank you for sacrificing your needs just to feed us. Thank you for sacrificing your body, health and strength for us. Thank you for always putting a curve in our mouths. Thank you for all the significant and notable lessons you gave us. Thank you for being such a loving husband to our mother. Thank you for being strong even though I know deep inside you almost want to break down and cry but you chose not to because you want us to see you like that- a dauntless man who never cries. Thank you for everything pa. I pray to God that He will give you more candles to blow. I also asked Him to give you 100 more years so you’ll still see me and Sean grow old, graduate school, work, have families etc. Papa, happy happy birthday. We love you to infinity and beyond. May God bless you more and more each day.
