Sunday Currently / 3rd Edition

It is that time of the week again- SUNDAY! We had a very drizzly Sunday fyi. I stayed inside our apartment all day, except that I went out to buy a drink in a store 5 steps away from our house. Btw, I always forgot to post weekly about what I am up to every Sunday. I actually made a plan that I have to start a blog series so I can keep this blog updated and running. Anyway, shall I start?

reading. Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon. This was the first book I read after finishing All The Bright Places (3 weeks ago). I don’t know why, but I was having a hard time moving on from that book Jennifer Niven wrote. But, right now, I am ready to enter a new world! 😀 😀

writing. Blog plans, that I wish I could do thoroughly. Made a list of blog series and everything so that I wont leave this blog empty.

listening. to the sound of my brother screaming because he is watching some scary stuffs. And, by the way, he is six.

thinking. about the movie I just watched earlier- Me before you. I haven’t read the book yet, and I regret watching the movie first before reading it. But even if I watched it already, I am still so curious about what happened to them in the book.

smelling. my newly washed clothes, I bought a fabric conditioner and it smells like roses.

wishing. that I could finish my upcoming Paces earlier than my mother expects it to be done. If you must know, I am a homeschooled student and I am currently waiting for my Paces to arrive from our school.

hoping.  for a good Monday and a good week ahead.

wearing. I haven’t notice that I am actually wearing an all yellow outfit today till I came to this part of my post. So, yellow t-shirt and a yellow jersey short (my dad’s).

loving. The night lights outside. Toyota City at night is very wonderful.

wanting. A dozen of CHOCOLATE COATED DONUT! 😀

needing. A huge air conditioner, for real! It is getting hot in Japan, even the air outside is so freaking hot!

feeling. A bit hungry cause of this advertisement I just saw from Mcdonalds grr

clicking. Tab by tab, I forgot to save the link I am suppose to visit haaaa!

So I hope you guys enjoyed it, and if you reached till the end of this post then I love you so much! Thanks so much xx

Nagoya Escapade

It was a very special month for me and my family because we celebrated Father’s day and 2 more events in one day.

First, we went to the airport to welcome my cousin’s wife. We hit the road at 2 am and arrived at 3 am. We saw a lot of views on the way to the airport, like huge malls, mountains, long tunnels and this ferris wheel.

We waited for almost 2 hours till she arrived. I tried to sleep but I was too excited to see her so I decided to read and take photographs around the airport.

After going to the airport, we then started the celebration and went to Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens. I felt like a kid again seeing tons of animals and riding the duck boat. Although it was raining we still made it to the boat ride and enjoyed it for almost thirty minutes.

Not just the rides, there is the Sky Tower and you can see the whole Nagoya while riding the elevator. When arriving at the top, we took the time to appreciate the beauty of Nagoya with their panoramic view.

And here is the fifth floor view:

Upon going home, the rain poured endlessly. Me and my dad run towards the parking lot to get the car.

It really is the best day, especially that I spent it with my whole family!

How I spent my Golden Week 2016.

Japan celebrates a lot of events every year during the last week of April till the first week of May.

The firs event is on April 29 which is the birthday of Emperor Showa who passed away in 1989. But now, it is celebrated as the ‘appreciation of nature’ of greenery day. There were some kind of festival below the building where we live and people made mochis, yakisoba and soup to sell.

On May 3 is the Constitution Memorial Day, May 4 is citizen’s holiday and on May 5 is the Children’s Day.

Other than that, we celebrated my parent’s 19th wedding anniversary on May 3 and my aunt’s 49th birthday on May 2. Can you just imagine we celebrated a lot of events this week? How about you guys, what was the most memorable event, so far, that happened in your life in 2016?

Walk with me!

I should’ve posted this last week, but I was too busy and forgot to. So, I really love to roam around our little town to sweat up and I thought I would take some pics and share some in my blog!

As you may know, I currently live in Japan with my family and we stay in “Homi Danchi”. This place is like a little “Brazil” since most of the people who live here are Brazilians.

There are, maybe, a total of 70 apartment buildings to live in. I feel like I am in the Philippines too because every afternoon a lot of kids play outside, people will gather around the park and the place is full of talkings and laughters. Though, I cant understand them because they are speaking in Portuguese.

Let me also mention how clean this place is! I am so amazed that the Japanese government provided a lot of people to clean around the whole town. You can breathe fresh air.

This is where I live!

Transportation isn’t also a problem because every 30 mins, there is a bus that is bound for Josui- which is a town near Homi. And every 1 hour, a bus bound for Toyota Shi.

I hope you all loved the little tour.
