Picnic on the riverside probably is the best way to spend summer! Even though the current of the water is strong, it feels so good to freshen up your mind while tasting the smell of barbecue or even capturing amazing moments with your camera and thinking ‘this photo is the best cover for my latest entry’.
Last Saturday, we went to a riverside near the Toyota Stadium. It was also a post-birthday celebration of my cousin’s wife- ate Kei. The kids enjoyed the water so much, including me! Although our feet hurt a lot cause there are tons of rocks below and the rocks also are so slimy and slippery. There are also people who spent hours in the middle of the river waiting for a fish to catch. My father got four fishes, well we thought those were fishes, but those were really tadpoles. 😀
Sadly, the weather was a bit cloudy and rainy. The water was also a bit cold but that didn’t stop us from swimming and catching fishes. My brother really had fun throwing rocks in the water while I enjoy sitting on a huge pile rocks, taking pictures.
My mother, aunt and the others chose to sit down and feel the breeze while waiting for the food to cook
Can I just say how I love to bury my feet into the cold and refreshing water. Also, the water is so clear!
I can’t wait for the one week vacation of my parents’ work, they told us that we are going on a beach and catch some crabs or maybe even spend the night on the shore!
Hope you guys loved the event I shared with you, can’t wait to read all the stuffs you did on your summer vacation too!
